Bavarian is the southernmost and largest federal state of Germany. Bavaria is a leading location for high technology and innovation.

Bavaria plays a leading role in all major areas of biotechnology. Among them are pharmaceutical (diagnostics and new therapeutics) biotechnology, the "omics"-technologies, personalized medicine and biomarker research as well as the industrial and environmental applications of this future technology.

The Bavarian Biotech Cluster is a networking organization linking the biotech locations and start-up centers in Bavaria. We provide information about the sector and offer help to find the right contacts.

By interlinking business and science the Biotechnology Cluster provides a state-wide network that supports and strengthens the entire process from an original idea to a final product.
